We are very pleased to announce the second CCTA 2018 Student Best Paper Award. The award is funded by the IEEE Control Systems Society (CSS) and has been established to recognize excellence in a CCTA paper whose primary contributor is a Student Member of the IEEE. Selection for the award is based on originality, clarity, and potential impact on practical applications of control, and all student nominees are expected to present his/her paper at the CCTA 2018. Details of the award and application process are as follows.

The primary and first listed author must be a student at the time of original submission, and must have a current IEEE membership for the year 2018. The nominated paper must have been accepted for presentation at the CCTA 2018. Nominations must be made provisionally at the time of paper submission, following the procedure outlined below.

Nominations must be made by the student's major professor (advisor) through PaperPlaza by deadline for paper submission; this deadline represents a provisional nomination pending final acceptance of the paper. Please fill out the nomination form and submit by following links in PaperPlaza: "Start" => "Submit a paper or session proposal links"; then submit the form by clicking the "Submit" link next to "Paper Award Nomination".
